With an all-new design, class leading technology and some of the most powerful engines every produced for a road car, the New Ford Mustang paves the way for the next generation of vehicles from the legendary automaker.
The New Mustang features improved aerodynamics and a beautiful new
body shape that is wider and lower than previous models. In fact, much
of the new Mustang has been given a total design overhaul, with
distinctive HID headlamps, air extractor hood vents, LED tail lamps and a
brand-new fastback combining for a striking look. Inside, the cockpit
houses classic gauges, a stylish sat nav display and a range of features
designed to enhance driver and passenger comfort and convenience, such
as seats that can be heated and cooled down.
Embodying the spirit of Mustang in an ultra-modern form, the Fastback’s long bonnet flows downwards to reduce drag, helping the car to cut through the air with ease. Front splitters enhance down force, enabling you to enjoy the new Mustang’s outstanding performance. Distinctive headlamp and rear light designs, along with other signature features, leave you in no doubt as to the car’s identity. With a range of the latest technologies, all designed to heighten your experience at the wheel.
Described by Ford Chief Designer Joel Piaskowski as a “beautiful horizontal bullet”, the new Mustang Convertible is an expression of pure driving freedom. Perfectly proportioned from every angle, a flowing beltline wraps around the cabin opening to define it. An entirely new folding mechanism enables the roof to fold away in seconds, deep into the body to maintain the car’s streamline appearance and aerodynamics. A subtle ‘kick-up’ on the boot helps create down force, bringing the car’s power and torque to life through its rear-wheel drive. Roof up or roof down, the new Mustang is sure to leave a lasting impression, wherever you take it.
Under the bonnet, the Ford Mustang comes with a choice of two highly advanced engines. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost unit produces 305bhp and 433Nm of torque thanks to twin-scroll turbocharger technology, and the alternative is the magnificent 5.0-litre GT unit. It has been described as the 'stuff of Mustang legend' for good reason, and is even more powerful with 420bhp and 542Nm of torque.
