The first Ka created quite a comotion when it first arrived – and the new Ford Ka is no exception. Its kinetic design ethos has already had raving reviews from both the public and the automotive press. Engaging, relaxing and fun to drive, the new Ka sets a stimulating new standard for small cars.
Sweeping lines, chunky proportions and new colours perfectly capture the new Ka’s personality outside, which is effectively echoed on the inside. A flowing upper instrument panel, two-tone seats and a striking centre console are finished in bold contrasts and expressive colours. It’s deceptively spacious, easily carrying four adults with plenty of clever and convenient stowage.
And for the first time, the new Ka has a choice of engines: a 1.2 litre 69 PS Duratec petrol engine or a 1.3 litre 75 PS Duratorq TDCi turbodiesel , both available at Gates Ford Essex and Hertfordshire.
The new Ford Ka features a wealth of safety technology for confident, assured handling in all conditions. There’s a brand new suspension system and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution as standard. Tricky hill starts are made a thing of the past with Hill Launch Assist with Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), which keeps the wheels locked until you apply the accelerator. The new Ka’s outstanding road handling can be further enhanced with the Electronic Stability Programme that prevents slipping and skidding in low-grip conditions.

Gates Service Plan explained...
Regular servicing of your vehicle pays long term dividends to you with increased reliability, performance and value. Gates service plan is designed to enable you to pre-pay for your future servicing requirements and not to be affected by future parts and labour increases.
Gates service plan is an optional extra and entitlement to service will be indicated on your registration form and will run for the number of services shown, at the time and mileage stipulated by the manufacturer. The Gates Service Plan is only available on Ford vehicles.
Your responsibilities:
Your only responsibility is to ensure that you book your car in for service at a Frank G.Gates Ltd dealership when a service is due. This will be determined by either mileage or time, whichever is sooner. If you are unsure of the service intervals, please ask your service advisor.
What is covered:
All labour, parts and VAT costs associated with performing the manufacturer's recommended service as they become due on your vehicle including oils, filters, spark plugs and engine coolant.
How to receive service:
Simply book your vehicle into any Frank G.Gates Ltd dealership and hand your service plan booklet to your service advisor. All services covered by the Gates Service Plan can only be carried out at a Frank G.Gates Ltd site.
