How often does an OMODA or JAECOO need servicing?

Much like traditional vehicles, an electrified OMODA or JAECOO typically requires annual servicing, or maintenance based on mileage, ensuring optimal performance and battery longevity.

Do 100% electric vehicles (EVs) require oil changes?

No, EVs do not need traditional oil changes. However, cooling systems, brakes and tyres require routine checks.

What happens during an EV health check?

We evaluate the condition of the battery, the efficiency of the motor, the braking system, tyre wear, and software updates to ensure optimal performance.

Demonstration test drives Test drive the latest Ford demonstrator vehicles while your vehicle is being serviced. Demonstrator loans are available by appointment only and are subject to availability.

Dedicated parking for Ford Service customers All of our Gates Ford servicing centres have parking spaces allocated specifically for our service customers. Please note however that spaces are subject to availability at peak times.

Servicing while you wait We offer waiting appointments for customers visiting us for servicing and MOT’s. Please ask your Service Advisor about availability when you make your booking.

Overnight servicing Drop your Ford vehicle off to us by 5:30pm and we’ll have it ready for collection by 8:30pm the following day. More details, terms and conditions can be found here.

Express servicing If your Ford vehicle needs a first or second year service, why not take advantage of our Ford Express service option? We will aim to complete your service within 60 minutes. Find out more here.

*Gates Price match terms and conditions: An alternative quote must be provided either before work has been undertaken by Gates or within 14 days of the repair being carried out, in which case the lower price will be matched. A written quotation for an identical job must be presented. It must be from a repairer who is subscribed to the Motor Industry Code of Practice and who uses genuine Ford-supplied parts, within a 5 mile radius of a Gates dealership. In all cases, Gates reserves the right to check and validate the qualifying quotation and to refuse any claims which they reasonably believe do not meet the eligibility conditions.
