We are looking for an enthusiastic , self-motivated individual to
join our Marketing team based at Gates of Harlow. This role will involve assisting with the implementation of all aspects of Group Marketing including social media activity, database and website maintenance and event co-ordination and would be ideal for individuals looking to pursue a career in Marketing.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Social media and content creation
- Working alongside the Marketing Management, schedule and publish organic content across all social media platforms, for all areas of the business.
- Monitor post-performance and engagement, liaising with the Marketing Management to identify improvements and opportunities.
- To conduct competitor activity across a variety of social media channels to identify trends and opportunities.
- Continually monitor all social media channels responding to social media messages and comments.
- Generating new ideas for social media content and identifying current trends.
- Creation of content for use on website and social media. To include high quality imagery, videos and other media.
- To present and assist with the production of videos for all areas of the business, creating content that engages, educates and entertains current and prospective customers.
Website and campaign support
- Keep all aspects of the website up to date.
- Update the latest offers and promotions for all brands on the company website.
- To assist with website support issues.
- To assist with the creation/design of email marketing campaigns as required.
- Monitor and update online directories, business profiles and third party sites on a regular basis.
- Assist with maintaining the customer relationship management (CRM) database – to include maintenance reports, updating customer/vehicle records as advised by group contact centre and in response to customer communications.
- To oversee stock of group POS for all brands and locations as required – to include obtaining quotes and placing orders as required, ensuring advertising guidelines are adhered to.
- Distribution of POS to other Gates dealerships as required.
- To co-ordinate vehicle signwriting for all brands as required – to include liaising between supplier and relevant department managers.
- Perform other ad-hoc and administrative duties, as required.
Event co-ordination and support
- Supporting the implementation of dealership events and promotions (on and off-site).
- To liaise with relevant dealership teams to successfully communicate/co-ordinate event logistics.
- To co-ordinate the ordering and distribution of relevant POS required to support dealership events.
- Representing the business in person by attending both on-site and off-site events, generating supporting social media content.
Key competencies:
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- Computer
literate with a good understanding of websites.
- Willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work within a team.
- Experience
using social media platforms
(in particular, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok).
- The ability to present confidently on camera for promotional
videos.
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
- The ability to communicate effectively by phone, e-mail and in-person.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to apply attention to detail.
