It should be noted that the payroll data drawn for the required reporting period was not a true representation of our gender pay gap information, as a high number of staff members (96.33%) were on furlough leave or reduced pay, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the enforced closure of vehicle showrooms at this time. As such, these employees are excluded from our list of ‘full-pay relevant’ employees and leaves a small sample of employee pay data to form the basis of our gender pay gap calculations, which is not indicative of our headcount or pay hierarchy, and therefore not a meaningful comparison.
