We are currently recruiting for Compound Supervisor to join our Logistics team at Harlow.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising compound staff, drivers, valeters, and vehicle handlers.
- Managing vehicle movements in and out of the compound.
- Maintaining accurate vehicle inventory records and stock control.
- Coordinating vehicle inspections for damage, cleanliness, and readiness.
- Ensuring vehicles are parked safely and efficiently within the site.
- Monitoring health & safety procedures and site compliance.
- Organising vehicle dispatch and deliveries.
- Liaising with transport companies, dealerships, and internal operations teams.
- Handling keys, documentation, and vehicle tracking systems.
- Investigating and reporting vehicle damage, incidents, or discrepancies.
- Conducting daily operational checks and reporting performance metrics.
- Maintaining site security and preventing vehicle loss or theft.
- Supporting audits and compliance checks.
- Monitoring fuel levels, battery charging, and vehicle condition.
- Managing contractor access and site traffic flow.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Leadership and team management.
- Organisation and multitasking.
- Automotive or logistics experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Health & safety awareness.
- Communication skills.
- Problem-solving under pressure,
- IT and stock management systems knowledge.
- Full driving licence required.
