Exterior
Retaining the previous generation’s muscular aesthetic, the All-New Ford Ranger Raptor features a revised front end, with a wide grille overlaid with the brand’s name and flanked by C-shaped daytime running lights. Flared wheel arches and prominent bumpers add to the terrain-conquering feel, while black alloy wheels and exclusive Code Orange paint finish the look.
Interior
The All-New Ranger Raptor’s interior is a lesson in luxury. Not only does the dash feature a fully digital 12.4-inch instrument cluster and distinctive portrait-style touchscreen, there are sports seats upholstered in leather and Alcantara trim with Code Orange accents and Raptor logos. For your ultimate comfort, there’s dual-zone climate control and a USB port, while practicality is enhanced with cargo tie-down points and a roller shutter across the load bed.
Performance
Available with a choice of 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre V6 diesel engines, the Al-New Ranger Raptor offers a powerful and assured drive on any terrain. All-wheel drive ensures stability on every surface, and is enhanced with seven driving modes, including Slippery, Sand and Rock Crawl. A new addition is the Baja Mode, for fast off-road driving. On the road, the ride is comfortable and responsive, and the 0-62mph time of 7.9 seconds means it has plenty of punch.
Technology & safety
In-car technology includes the latest Ford SYNC 4 infotainment system, as well as a 10-speaker B&O sound system. For driving assistance, there’s Trail Control – an off-road cruise control programme – and just for fun, there are four exhaust notes to choose from, including a Quiet setting for urban and residential environments and a Baja setting for that distinctive V6 growl.
Safety features include seven airbags, Autonomous Emergency Braking, traction control, Roll Stability Control, and more.
