Ford Mustang Mach 1
Taking sports performance to the next level, the limited edition Ford Mustang Mach 1 is for those who desire more power and more agility. This track capable member of the Mustang family is no ordinary sportscar: boasting a 5.0-litre V8 engine and exceptional aerodynamics, it delivers a breath-taking 460PS at 7,250rpm and 529Nm of torque at 4,600rpm.
Whether you’re on the road or the track, the Ford Mustang Mach 1’s 5.0-litre V8 engine will set your pulse racing. Although performance figures haven’t been confirmed, it’s destined to beat the standard vehicle’s 0-62mph time of 4.3 seconds, and top speed of 155mph. With a choice of six-speed manual and ten-speed automatic transmission too, you can decide how power is delivered. The Mustang Mach 1 also includes Selectable Drive Modes, including Normal, Sport and Track, enabling you to tailor the ride to your preferences and the circumstances.
The Mustang Mach 1 may be designed to perform, but it ensures you remain comfortable through every corner. Its premium leather sports seats envelop you, providing optimal and luxury support, while a bespoke dark-effect instrument panel with bright-finish accents lend a luxury feel to the cockpit. In addition to this, the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster makes it easy to check performance data easily and at a glance, while a raft of driver assistance technologies provide safety and convenience.
Every feature of the Mustang Mach 1 is designed to enhance its performance. From the front splitter and wide grille, through the low-slung chassis and sweeping roofline to the rear diffuser, every detail has been crafted to maximise airflow and increase downforce. The result is optimal track performance – and of course, a commanding presence.
If the standard performance enhancements aren’t enough for you, the Mustang Mach 1 gives you the chance to make things even more impressive. The optional Handling Package enables drivers of the manual model to increase downforce with a larger front splitter, wider wheels and more. Other upgrades include a stiffer steering shaft and performance-based Michelin PS4 tyres.
