Gates of St Albans unveil new MOT bay

A brand-new MOT bay has been unveiled this week at our FordStore in St Albans. Located on Ashley Road, the dealership can now carry out Class 4, Class 5 and Class 7 MOT’s.

The opening of this new MOT facility in St Albans is especially good news for our Commercial Vehicle customers as the dealership can now accommodate large Commercial Vehicles and Motorhomes in addition to other Cars and Vans.

The installation has been an ongoing project with planning originally passed back in March 2021. The design and installation of the MOT bay was carried out by Nick Nelson Garage Services, based in Norwich. Our pictures below illustrate the various stages of the build project, and we are delighted that we can now start welcoming customers with a wider range of vehicle types for their MOT requirements.

Not only are Gates of St Albans FordStore and Transit Centre able to offer MOTs for all three classes, but the aftersales department also provide vehicle servicing and repairs with warranty work also undertaken for Ford cars and commercial vehicles.
