Gates Ford are delighted to announce that we'll be holding an exclusive test drive event on Sunday 22nd June 2025. Our event will be hosted at the home of EHAAT, at the state-of-the-art airbase and visitor centre at North Weald. Take a spin in a new Ford vehicle and what's more, for every test drive taken, we’ll donate £30 to Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) - a little drive could go a long way!
At Gates Ford, we have been serving the local community for 125 years now with 2025 being no exception! Our exclusive test drive event is a community event with a difference - not only will we be showcasing a selection of the very latest New Ford Cars and Vans, but we'll also be raising money for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance along the way!
Book a test drive in one of our New Ford Vehicles and upon completion, Ford will donate £30 to EHAAT! It's as simple as that!

Please note, EHAAT's helicopters may be available to view on the day however, due to the fact that the Critical Care Teams are on call 24 hours a day, they may not be on site.

We have a fabulous test drive route planned which will allow you to really get a feel for each of our Ford vehicles on the open road - test drives should take approximately 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, our Events Team will be on hand to talk to you about the latest New Ford Cars and Vans available including the fantastic Hybrid and Electric variants featuring at the event. If you'd like to know more about charging a Plug-In Hybrid or Electric Vehicle, we'll help you to better understand the options available to you. Our team will also accompany you during your test drive and will help answer any questions that you may have as you take the wheel!
All of the vehicles mentioned will be available to test drive on the day - we'd highly recommend pre-booking in advance however, especially if there is a particular time that you'd like to take your test drive. We would love to see as many people come along and join us on the day.
Our event promises to be fun and informative, whilst having the local community at it's heart. Gates have been proud supporters of EHAAT for several years now - in early 2025, we were pleased to handover a New Ford Plug-In Hybrid to assist the charity’s staff in their essential operations. The introduction of the new Ford Kuga Plug-In Hybrid will support the charity’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint while maintaining charitable operational efficiency. EHAAT rely on support from the local community and corporate sponsors like Gates to continue their lifesaving work providing a first-class pre-hospital emergency medical service across Essex, Hertfordshire and beyond.
Our forthcoming Ford Test Drive Event taking place at the home of EHAAT in North Weald, will aim to raise up to £6,000 for the charity further assisting in the crucial, life-saving work that the charity do- Gates Ford are honoured to be a continued part of their journey.
Important Information
*NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s licence and valid automobile insurance. Donation of £30 per valid test-drive, up to 200 test-drives, for a total donation of £6,000 per event. Limit one (1) donation per household. Organisation is selected at the discretion of the participating Ford Dealership.
