Ford of Britain have launched a new National Network of PartsPlus Centres that provide an exceptional range of services designed to support the sale of trade parts directly to independent repairers and body shops.
PartsPlus has been designed to focus on meeting the needs of existing and new trade customers. Our PartsPlus Centre holds extensive, competitively priced stock of Genuine Ford, Motorcraft and Omnicraft parts, supplied through a reliable, regular and professional delivery service.

PartsPlus Business Development Executive
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Business Development Executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with new and existing customers and achieving sales targets for the customer based in their defined territory.
Key activities will include:
Sales performance
Achieve sales targets for the customers based in a defined territory.
Work within the identified sales strategy to increase sales revenues from higher segmented customer accounts.
Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within customer base.
Identify potential new customer account within Centre territory.
Maintain own product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
Customer
Develop and build strong relationships with all customers.
Provide the highest level of customer service.
Ensure customer discounts are appropriately applied based on spend levels.
Communication
Assist, liaise with and support the Centre team to ensure good working relationships and delivery of excellent customer service.
Work with the PartsPlus Centre Manager, PartsPlus Centre team, and others to achieve sales targets and provide a joined-up approach to sales.
Systems and Processes
Maintain accurate customer records and adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations.
Interrogate sales data to ensure that multiple sales call objectives are set prior to customer visits.
Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal and ethical guidelines (including Warranty).
In order to be successful within the Business Development Executive position, you must:
Be a self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
Have extensive customer account management experience with a real passion for providing excellent customer service.
Have a passion or interest in the automotive industry or parts.
Be IT literate, preferably with a good working knowledge of MS Excel. CDK/Kerridge experience desirable.
Have a full clean UK driving licence.

Performance orientated with proven selling and negotiation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
Able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
Ability to work with a team as well as on own initiative.
