Job Description

Showroom Controller vacancy - Gates Ford Stevenage

Gates Ford Stevenage are recruiting for a Showroom Controller to support Car & Commercial Vehicle sales operations. The suitable candidate will work closely with the Sales Managers to oversee all day-to-day showroom activities ensuring a professional, profitable and process driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal stacking within Set Parameters.
  • Listening to Sales Executives / Trainee Mentoring.
  • Lead Distribution.
  • Marking lost sales.
  • Renewals Management.
  • Daily salesperson 1-2-1’s.
  • Maintaining and ensuring daily activities.
  • Reviewing what’s “on the go”.
  • Appointment building / monitoring.
  • Negotiation / 2nd Face.
  • Training / Coaching.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous vehicle sales experience is essential and evidence of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Confidence and the ability to manage a team of Sales Executives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the professionalism to work closely with the Sales Team and Sales Manager.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
