It offers more rugged, upright SUV styling with technology suited to everyday driving and adventures. JAECOO launched in the UK in January 2025 with the JAECOO 7, and now includes petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric options.

Contact your local Gates team to assess which JAECOO model best suits your needs.

How long is the JAECOO warranty, and how does it compare to other brands?

Close

New JAECOO vehicles come with a seven-year/100,000-mile manufacturer warranty, whichever comes first, providing long-term reassurance for owners. High-voltage batteries have separate eight-year/100,000-mile cover, subject to warranty terms, servicing requirements and exclusions.

Brand comparison

JAECOO’s seven-year/100,000-mile warranty matches Kia’s headline cover and offers two more years than Hyundai’s five-year warranty, although Hyundai’s unlimited mileage may better suit high-mileage drivers.

JAECOO also expanded cover for several components in August 2026, applied automatically to existing UK vehicles.

What’s the difference between the JAECOO 5, E5, 7 and 8?

Close

Generally, the model numbers reflect each vehicle’s position and size within the JAECOO range, while the letters identify different electrified powertrains. SHS means Super Hybrid System: SHS-H is a full hybrid (no charging), and SHS-P is a plug-in hybrid.
