The BYD Shark is offered with a single trim level loaded with equipment, much of which is new to the pick-up sector. This includes a digital instrument cluster, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging and keyless entry and start.
The BYD Shark comes in a choice of five contemporary colours: Atlantis Blue, which comes as standard, or optional Obsidian Black, Polar White, Grey Green or Sunrise Orange. Its 18-inch alloy wheels come in two-tone black and silver as standard, or optional all-black.
The BYD Shark comes with a 15.6-inch infotainment screen that offers access to navigation, a voice assistant, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system. The screen also displays a 360-degree view camera for assistance when reversing and manoeuvring.
For your peace of mind, the Shark supports your on-road driving with Intelligent and Adaptive Cruise Control, Front and Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Brake, Forward and Rear Collision Warning, Lane Departure Assistant with Emergency Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection and Hill Hold Control. Off-road support includes Hill Descent Control.
The Shark’s all-wheel drive system provides confidence on four types of terrain: sand, mud, snow and gravel. It also has short overhangs to deliver approach and departure angles of 31 degrees and 19.3 degrees respectively.
