Gates of Stevenage apprentices qualify as Vehicle Technicians

Maciej Dabrowski and Nicholas Sinclair complete their Automotive Apprenticeships.

We are very proud to announce that two of our apprentices based at Gates of Stevenage, Maciej Dabrowski and Nicholas Sinclair, have recently qualified as Ford Service Technicians. Both have completed the Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course coordinated by the Henry Ford training academy and Skillnet.

The course duration took place over approximately 30-months, during which time Maciej and Nicholas developed their skills alongside Experienced Technicians in our workshop at Gates of Stevenage. They also attended Ford's Specialist College, the Henry Ford Academy, throughout the course of their apprenticeships and were supported by a dedicated "skills coach" from Skillnet.

Once qualified, our Ford Service Technicians are fully supported through a structured training programme to help further their career. They may choose to become a Senior Technican, Workshop Controller or Service Manager with opportunities to specialise in particular areas of the Automotive industry also available.
