With the release of the All-New Ford Transit Connect, the electrification of Ford Pro’s Transit family is complete. Now featuring a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) 1.5-litre petrol drivetrain, the Transit Connect continues to provide the power you demand (up to 150PS, plus 350Nm of torque). It does so while offering considerable fuel efficiency and a pure-electric range of up to 68 miles, and it delivers up to 11kW AC and 50kW DC charging capability.
Also available are a pair of efficient 2.0-litre EcoBlue turbodiesel engine options (102PS and 122PS), which return up to 58.8mpg.
Need an all-wheel drive model? It’s available as an option, providing you with enhanced handling, traction and safety in a variety of weather conditions.
The All-New Ford Transit Connect comes in Trend, Limited and Active (Kombi only) trim levels.
City friendly
Though not the smallest van in the Ford Pro range (that honour goes to the Transit Courier), the All-New Transit Connect is nevertheless very compact. This makes it a useful ally in busy urban environments since it is highly manoeuvrable and fits into most parking spaces.
Easy access
Thanks to wide-opening sliding side doors and 180-degree opening rear doors, you’ll never have any problem accessing the load compartment. This means easy loading and unloading, wherever you happen to be parked.
Enhanced load capacity
Available in two wheelbase lengths (not to mention a five-seat Kombi variant), the All-New Ford Transit Connect can carry as much as 3.7m3 and a maximum payload of 770kg. It can also tow a trailer weight of up to 1,500kg.
Five-seat Kombi
The five-seat Kombi is available as an option with the baseline Trend grade, and it’s the only version of the top-tier Active trim level. Rather cleverly, it enables you to fold the second row of seats to form a bulkhead while creating abundant load space.
Connected digital cockpit
A standard-issue 10-inch instrument display is joined by a 10-inch colour touchscreen. The latter delivers Connected Navigation, and also offers Apple/Android smartphone integration (wireless with Limited and Active trims). Need to charge your portable devices? No worries, USB-C ports deliver as much as 45 watts of power.
Advanced driver-assist features
Included as standard are Auto Emergency Braking, Evasive Steer Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Intersection Assist and Pre-collision Assist. Higher tier trims add even more, including Blind-spot Information System, Cross-traffic Alert, Exit Warning and a rear-view camera.
