James completed the race, held on 25th September 2016, in a negative split, meaning that he completed the second half of the race in a shorter time than the first half. Over 35,000 people ran the Berlin marathon, with James finishing in 510th place. The overall winner, Kenenisa Bekele, finished in just over 2 hours.
Next up for James is the Pleshey half marathon and Tiptree 10 miles. He'll also be travelling to New York in November for this year's New York Marathon.
We'd like to congratulate James on his recent achievements and wish him the bet of luck for the coming races this year.
