It's designed for site supervisors, inspection teams and mobile workers who travel between locations with laptops, paperwork, specialist kit or spare parts, making it a long-range electric replacement for pool cars or employee mileage. Every van comes with a three-year/60,000-mile Ford warranty covering both the base vehicle and the conversion.

The Explorer Van is a Ford conversion of the All-Electric Ford Explorer. The rear seats are replaced with a load area behind a full bulkhead, with a flat load floor, moveable dividers, lashing points and panelled rear windows. It's homologated as a commercial vehicle rather than a car.
The Explorer Van carries up to 650kg payload. It can tow up to 1,200kg with all-wheel drive or 1,000kg with rear-wheel drive.
At up to 135kW, a 10–80% charge takes approximately 25 minutes. Charging times vary depending on the charger and conditions.
Every Explorer Van comes with a three-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper Ford warranty, covering both the base vehicle and the conversion.
