Recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Edge Vignale brings a new level of design, comfort and technology to Ford’s high-end SUV. With the Vignale range, Ford provides a wealth of features designed to make your driving experience truly special. Vignale owners have a dedicated helpline, available 24/7 for all aftersales services, and gain exclusive access to discounts, special offers and other benefits.
The bodywork of the Edge Vignale has been reworked from the conventional model, and features a chrome-trimmed grille and fog lights, rear body colour spoiler and dual exhausts. Exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels are perfectly proportioned to the car and add to its sophisticated appearance. The mesh grille has a hexagonal design, a theme replicated on the inside. The Edge Vignale is available in several metallic colour options exclusive to the Vignale range. The vehicle is ready to drive with Ford’s KeyFree system with starter button, which also allows you to open the power tailgate remotely.
Inside the cabin the Edge Vignale oozes luxury and comfort. The unique styling of the interior combines top quality craftsmanship and materials with the latest technology. Perfect precision is evident in the hexagonal design of the luxurious soft-touch leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel; a trimmed gearshift knob complete the elegant ambience. Dual-zone automatic climate control allows you to set different temperature levels in the front and rear for optimal comfort. Rear seats fold flat to provide increased boot capacity.
There is a choice of two engines, the 2.0-litre Duratorq 177bhp and the 2.0-litre Duratorq 207bhp travelling from 0-60mph in approximately 9.8 seconds and 9.3 seconds respectively. Both feature auto-start-stop for increased fuel economy and have CO₂ emissions of 152g/km. Fuel consumption for the Edge Vignale averages 47.9mpg. Torque for the 177bhp engine is 400Nm, and 450Nm for the 207bhp.
Practical safety features on the Edge Vignale include cruise control, auto emergency stop and blind spot monitoring. Parking is easy thanks to Active Park Assist technology, helping you to park in spaces just 20% longer than the vehicle itself, while adaptive steering technology adjusts the amount of steering required in response to how you are driving. Ready to go in all conditions, the Edge even uses rain sensors to automatically adjust headlights and wipers.
Technology features such as Active Noise Control block out the sounds you do not want, including engine noise, so you can focus on the music and conversations inside. The Ford SYNC 2 infotainment system features an eight-inch colour Touchscreen with DAB navigation. Voice activation means you can make verbal instructions, like ‘I need to park’, with just one push of a button, prompting the system to identify parking options.
