Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Steve McQueen movie, Bullitt, the upcoming Ford Mustang Bullitt epitomises the thrill of muscle car driving.
Offered with a choice of Shadow Black or Dark Highland Green paint, the Bullitt will stand out from its siblings thanks to 19-inch Torq Thrust-style wheels with red Brembo brake callipers and the signature Mustang Running Horse design, as well as a faux Bullitt fuel-filler cap and understated Bullitt badging. Get up close and you’ll notice subtler touches such as the chrome-accented front grille and windows.
The interior is no less impressive, featuring a 12-inch all-digital LCD instrument cluster to ensure information is crisp and clear, as well as Recaro sports seats. The interior stitching will reflect your exterior colour choice and each Mustang Bullitt will sport an individually numbered plaque instead of the traditional Mustang emblem.
A B&O PLAY audio system will deliver 1,000 watts of audio power through 12 speakers, and a special nod goes to the original car’s interior in the form of a white cue ball gear knob.
The new Ford Mustang Bullitt roars into life courtesy of a 5.0-litre V8 engine, which has been enhanced by an Open Air Induction System and delivers 464 PS and 529 Nm of torque. The engine’s signature rumble is accentuated by an active valve performance exhaust system, which ensures heads will turn as you race past.
